Our class action and multi-district litigation practice regularly participates in and leads litigation on behalf of large groups of plaintiffs located in different districts throughout Florida and nationwide. Our class action lawyers and multi-district litigation attorneys have significant experience representing the interests of large groups of individuals and navigating the complexities of large-scale and multi-district cases.

We have been appointed to represent groups of plaintiffs in class action and multi-district cases. We have also developed litigation, identifying potential plaintiffs and seeking class-action certification.

In large-scale litigation, some plaintiffs feel that their interests will not be adequately represented, or that they will somehow receive less than what they deserve. Our class action and multi-district litigation attorneys work hard to insure that every plaintiff’s interests are addressed and to seek compensation packages fair for every plaintiff.

Some of our most notable involvement in class action and multi-district litigation includes the following:

• Two of our partners served as co-lead trial counsel on behalf of the Plaintiff class in the Premium Sales case, the largest mass-fraud case in South Florida history. The case was settled after the start of trial for $170,000,000.

• In 2003, Mike Eidson was appointed to serve as co-lead counsel in the Ford / Firestone multi-district litigation involving tire tread separations and rollovers of Ford Explorers.

• Also in 2003, Ervin Gonzalez  led the firm’s class action litigation team to achieve a $100 million settlement against Menorah Gardens Cemeteries and its parent company Service Corporation International (SCI), the largest funeral home operator in the nation. The class case and individual cases settled on behalf of families whose loved ones allegedly had been buried in the wrong cemetery plots and those graves had been desecrated.
