Colson Hicks Eidson has a long history of serving sophisticated clientele, and our attorneys are highly regarded for their depth of legal experience, responsiveness to client concerns, and ethical tactics, both inside and outside of the courtroom. Our firm is also well respected throughout the legal community, and is recognized for its various distinguished achievements.
The firm has obtained hundreds of millions of dollars in verdicts and recoveries for its clients and is recognized as a leader in plaintiffs’ personal injury and wrongful death cases, including international aviation disasters; catastrophic automobile accidents; commercial and business torts; class actions and mass torts; and other areas of litigation including professional negligence, product liability, and white collar criminal defense.
Currently, the firm serves on the plaintiff’s steering committee for litigation surrounding the Deepwater Horizon BP oil spill, high-sulfur Chinese drywall linked to odor and metal corrosion in new home construction, and the nine-member personal injury/wrongful death leadership committee in the multidistrict litigation against Toyota Motor Corp over sudden unintended acceleration. We served as the court-appointed Receiver for the Mutual Benefits Corporation, formerly the nation’s largest viatical settlement company, and successfully recovered over $120 million for more than 30,000 investors.
