Meet Appellate Attorney Tom Kroeger
Tom Kroeger is a member of Colson Hicks Eidson’s appellate practice group where, as an experienced trial and appellate attorney, he supports the firm’s personal injury, commercial litigation, and white collar criminal defense practice areas.
Prior to joining the firm, Tom served for over eight years as senior attorney for The Florida Bar where he handled novel and complex lawyer regulation cases before the Florida Supreme Court. From trust accounting fraud to high profile conflicts of interest, Tom successfully guided the Bar’s investigations, trials and appeals. He also lectured frequently on issues of professional responsibility and ethics and served as a liaison to the Special Committee to Study the Unethical Illegal Solicitation of Legal Business. Before that, Tom served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office where he tried over 20 jury trials to verdict.
Tom has also worked for former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary Clinton, first as an intern during law school and then as President Clinton’s scheduling coordinator during then-Senator Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign. As an advance aide, Tom traveled the country and globe coordinating President and Secretary Clinton’s public appearances.
