Meet Appellate Attorney Tom Kroeger
With a relentless focus on the written word, Tom Kroeger is always striving to make his latest argument his best. With significant experience representing clients in federal and Florida trial and appellate courts, including all aspects of appellate practice and complex litigation support, Tom supports Colson Hicks Eidson’s personal injury, commercial litigation, professional malpractice, and class action areas. His goal, both in writing and in oral argument, remains the same: crystalize his client’s position in the simple and compelling fashion needed to secure the best outcome.
Prior to joining the firm, Tom served for over eight years as senior attorney for The Florida Bar where he handled novel and complex lawyer regulation cases before the Florida Supreme Court. From trust accounting fraud to high profile conflicts of interest, Tom successfully guided the Bar’s investigations, trials, and appeals. He continues to lecture on issues of professional responsibility and ethics and is available to represent attorneys in all matters of professional malpractice and responsibility.
Tom also served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office where he tried over 20 jury trials to verdict.
