The Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Elects Robert Fernandez Of Colson Hicks Eidson To Board Of Governors

MIAMI (February 10, 2000) — The law firm of Colson, Hicks, Eidson, Colson, Martnez & Mendoza today announced the recent election of Robert Fernandez to Hispanic National Bar Association’s Board of Governors as the Representative for the Southeastern United States.

The HNBA is the national voice of the Hispanic legal community, representing over 22,000 Hispanics in the law. The Board of Governors is responsible for developing and implementing the policies necessary to carry out the mission of The Hispanic National Bar Association: to improve the quality and the administration of justice by advocating for the interests of Hispanic attorneys, judges, law professors, paralegals, legal assistants, and law students.

Fernandez, who has been a member of the HNBA since 1998, is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Dade County Trial Lawyers Association and the Cuban American Bar Association.

Prior to joining Colson Hicks Eidson, Fernandez was a litigation associate at the Greenburg Traurig Law Firm. Currently, he specializes complex commercial litigation.
