Mike Eidson Installed as Chairman of Aviation Section of Trial Lawyers of America

CORAL GABLES (August 8, 2000) — The Law Firm of Colson Hicks Eidson today announced that Mike Eidson, senior partner at the firm, was installed as Chairman of the Aviation of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) at the national convention in Chicago, IL.

Aside from being installed as Chairman of the Aviation Section, Eidson was elected to ATLA’s Executive Committee.

“It is an honor to be elected Chairman not only because of what ATLA stands for but also because of the professional caliber of its members,” said Eidson, a member of ATLA for 26 years. “I welcome the opportunity to share my years of experience in the field with all members and look forward to providing leadership in the Aviation Section.”

In addition to serving as member of the Board of Governors of ATLA for almost 10 years, Eidson is currently a member of the Organization and Home Office Committee, the Budget Committee, and the Judicial Independence Committee. He is also past Chairman of the Products Liability Section.

In addition, Eidson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, member of the Board of Directors of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers (AFTL), member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, as well as recipient of the AFTL 1999 Masterson Award for Professionalism.
