Colson Hicks Eidson Partner Speaks At Academy Of Florida Trial Lawyers Event

MIAMI (February 8, 2001) — The Law Firm of Colson Hicks Eidson today announced that Julie Braman Kane—as Chair of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers (AFTL) Women’s Caucus—moderated a talk called “Doing It All” as part of the Workhorse Seminar at the Academy’s annual three-day event on Thursday, Feb 1, 2001 at the Contemporary Resort in Orlando.

Kane also sits on the Board of Directors of the Academy, where she is a past Chair of the Young Lawyers Division. In addition to her involvement in the Academy, she is active in several other legal societies such as the Dade County Trial Lawyers Association, where she sits on the Board of Directors, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, where she is Secretary of the Products Liability Section and Secretary of the Women’s Caucus.

Kane has also lectured in the United States and Canada about the many uses of computer technology in a modern law practice. Her current practice emphasizes products liabilityprofessional negligence and personal injury.
